What do you ACTUALLY get when you get a Logo from me?
A new logo is an investment for your business. A Branding Identity Package is going to be your best bet for that investment. And guess what? It comes with way more than a couple logo files.
How do we get to these files? Well to start with, we’ll dive into your ideas with a series of one on one conversations that includes a branding consultation. What does that mean for you? Well, it means you get to steer the project in the direction you’ve always had in mind for your business while adhering to some hard-won guidance from me as to how to keep your brand consistent.
We will agree on a timeline and make sure our deal is set in stone and from there I’ll get to work. And after the design process, you’ll end up with a personalized treasure trove in your inbox! Here are examples of the flashy goods you can expect to open:
Logo Files
Uh huh, the big one! This is what you came for and will probably be the first thing you open. Expect many files with various file extensions separated for common use cases in both print and screen/web formats:
Files for print use will be in CMYK format and come in both PDF and EPS file extensions
Files for Screen (or Web) use are in RGB format and come in JPG (for transparency), PNG, and SVG (for use by web designers/developers) file extensions.
Also included will be source files (for use by a designer). These will be vector files, which means the crisp shapes of your logo files will be able to be resized for any format.
But wait, there is more to this than just the logo. Oh, so much more!
Mood Board
A mood board is essentially a one-stop sheet with your brand’s colors, imagery I’ve used as reference for your brand, and typography we chose, if relevant. If you’ve never seen one of these or are curious about how they are put together, I’ve written about mood boards before; they’re a fundamental tool to bring the ideas behind your brand together in one visual space to slay the game for your brand!
3-5 Additional Branding Assets
To fully flesh out your branding identity, I’ll come up with 3-5 extra designed assets we can use to pull together brand colors and concepts. These could be anything from icons to shapes to add to the background or some imagery guidelines to tie the brand together.
Social Media Profile Pictures
You’ll also get social media profile pictures for all major platforms so you can quickly and easily upload those to your social media outlets without having to resize a version of your logo a bunch of times.
New Logo Announcement Posts for Social Media
I also include 3 social media posts for you to show off your new logo! Getting a logo is an achievement to be celebrated whether it’s a spankin’ new brand or a grown-into rebranding project. Having a few premade social media posts is enough to make my day at times, and the less fiddling you have to do with your new logo means more time you have to spread the word that you did it!
Branding Guidelines
Consider this a how-to booklet for using your Branding Identity Package (not just your logo!) in print or web form. This document outlines how to use your logo, typography suggestions, your specific color palette and how to reproduce them, plus tips on logo spacing so you can be sure your brand is consistently displayed no matter the format. Once you have a branding guidelines document you’ll be able to check on how your brand is represented throughout different channels and identify if there’s any issues.
Brand Fonts
To set you up for success, I’ll include the fonts picked especially for body copy and headings based on what I’ve designed for your brand. And don’t worry, I’ll include instructions on how to install these and where to use them.
Business Cards and Stationary or Letterhead
Business cards and consistent branding on communications are essential to your business. As technology progresses, “letterhead” might mean an email signature or an email template header, because, let’s face it, no one really writes letters anymore. But hey, if you do… challenge accepted!
Business cards can give a nice touch, especially if you have a business where you need to give out your contact information in person or leave a note in a product package. We will work together to figure out what those needs are and that will be included as part of your branding package!
Whew! That’s a lot of stuff, right? See why it’s worth the investment? Imagine spending your valuable time having to create all this and keep it consistent. Now leave that (nightmare?) behind and imagine your organized and designed future. Are you ready to get all these files in your very own shiny new Branding Identity Package? Go fill out my contact form to kick off your project!
